Is there an egg soda?
Egg soda (Vietnamese: soda sữa hột gà, Khmer: សូដាក្រឡុកពងមាន់, lsau da kralok pongmean) is a sweet drink made from egg yolk, sweetened condensed milk, and club soda from Southern Vietnam, though it is also consumed in Cambodia.
Is Vietnamese egg soda safe?
Put an egg yolk in a glass and add 2 tbps (more if you want sweeter, I sometimes use up to 5) of condensed milk. Add club soda, mix, add some ice, and you’re good to go. Don’t worry about eating raw egg yolk, apparently a chemical reaction occurs between the club soda and yolk which makes it “safe” to eat.
